Reflections

Reflections is a pamphlet of poems by Yvonne Gray with drawings by John Cumming. Yvonne has lived in Orkney for many years. John, a founder member of Hansel Cooperative Press, is a Shetlander who also lives in Orkney.

The pamphlet is a joint publication with Woodend Publishing, Banchory. It pays tribute to the local artist, Sylvia Wishart, whose view was not dissimilar to that of Yvonne or John. The title poem is one such poem, based on a recurring theme in Wishart’s work. It was short-listed for the 2013 Callum MacDonald Memorial Award.
